Lines: how the plot is cut

The road, the way to cut, and the strip that stays shared.

The road

Under Road, tap the side that runs along the road; each lot then shows its road frontage. No road if there is none.

How to divide

  • Every lot on the road: the cuts run away from the road.
  • Strips along a side: parallel strips, for a narrow and deep plot.
  • Parallel to a drawn line: tap the map twice to draw the line.
  • Exactly on the line: for two heirs, when a bund already marks the boundary.

Start from the other end reverses the order of the lots. When a cut would leave a lot in two pieces or without the road, the app names the heir and says what to try.

The common path

Turn on Common path, give the Path width and the side it runs along (Path along). Exactly that strip is taken out first; each lot shows its length on the path.

Divide the land before anyone picks up a tape

Measure the plot, set the shares, and let the app draw the lines and print the deed.
